Do not forget about Luddy's the deli on Rugby Road and Newkirk where we all
had hot dogs for a nickel and also went on the BMT or trolley car for a
nickel. Ebingers the best bakery in the world on Newkirk and the
Plaza. And the
fruit and vegetable store(Gellers) across from 1302 where I lived with
Shnooksy, also Louie Stone and Bobby Gehrig; and, where Mr. Herb use
to get his fruit
when his Grandmother and my mother didn't feed him. By the way on the crn of
Newkirk and Argyle the cleaning store is now an eatery I think muslim
recently sent you an article on it( There was a drug raid?)

We stretched Howie over the Mail Box every afternoon to make him taller. And
played marbles in the street on Westminster Rd near 217.And hockey on
westminster Rd. And watched the fights outside the Casa del Rae in the
evenings on
the weekends. And later on Friday nite fights and wrestling on TV.
